Bosch receives PSA Peugeot Citroën Suppliers' Award

Using ultrasonic sensors, the Bosch blind-spot monitoring system “Side View Assist” can register objects three meters to the side and diagonally to the rear of the vehicle. Its role is to assist drivers in dangerous situations, especially when changing lanes. In the event of a real danger, the driver is first of all warned by a visual alarm and then by an acoustic alarm.
The Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 will be launched shortly as the world's first full hybrid diesel vehicle. Bosch collaborated on developing the car and preparing it for series production. The company supplies key electronic components such as electric motors and power electronics intended for the diesel four-wheel drive powertrain developed by PSA Peugeot Citroën.
