Data acquisition software offers sophisticated post processing

The latest release 2015 R1 of Ipetronik's measurement data acquisition software IPEmotion puts the focus on data analysis. With enhanced and improved post-processing capabilities, users now have access to features such as linking multiple operations in sequence, calculating FFTs with selectable resolution as well as executing mathematical and logic operations.

The software also allows users to perform offline classifications as classification of random samples, retention periods, and passages. Limitations and amounts of classes can be set freely. The new release supports data filtering online as well as offline whereas the filter steepness in high-pass, low-pass and band pass filters can be set at the discretion of the user.

The list of the new features also includes manual or script-controlled cutting data ranges out of measurement data files. In addition, individual script operations to edit measurement data files via IronPython and VBS are now available. In the field of data analysis, new instruments such as tables, histograms, and CAN bus traffic analysis are now included in the software. Linking analysis operations with procedures and sequences help to significantly increase efficiency and reproducibility of the results.

Fort the first time, the software is available in a 64-bit version. Users benefit from the capability to handle files larger than 1 GB, to address larger memories and to automatically fragment the RAM. A new .Net framework has also been implemented.
